A campaign brings together a contact list, an agent, and the rules that decide when each contact may be called.
Calling hours follow the recipient
Calling hours are derived from the recipient's number, not from your account settings or your own timezone. A campaign run from London at 10am does not call a number in California at 2am.
This is not configurable per campaign, because the restriction belongs to the person being called rather than to the business calling them.
What happens per contact, at the moment of dialling
Each call is checked individually rather than the campaign being approved as a whole:
- Is this number on your do-not-call list?
- Is there a consent record, if enforcement is on?
- Is it an acceptable hour where this number is?
- Is there budget remaining?
A contact that fails any check is skipped and the reason recorded. The campaign continues.
Results
Every completed call produces a transcript, a recording if you have recording enabled, and a qualification decision with the reasoning behind it. These appear under Call Logs as the campaign runs.
