When somebody asks not to be called again, that request is honoured immediately and permanently across your entire account — not only within the campaign they were called from.
Adding a number
A number reaches the do-not-call list by:
- Asking during a call
- Being added by you, by hand or by import
- Consent being withdrawn
Scope
The list applies across your whole organisation. A number suppressed in one campaign is suppressed in all of them, including campaigns created later. There is no per-campaign override, deliberately.
Permanence
Entries are not removed by the platform on your behalf, and a suppressed number stays suppressed. Removing an entry is possible but deliberate, and it is recorded in the audit log like any other consent event.
Why immediate matters
A request to stop that takes effect at the end of the current run is not a request that has been honoured. The check happens at the moment of dialling, per contact, so a number added mid-campaign is respected by the next call rather than the next campaign.
