Telerva places outbound calls with an AI agent that holds a real conversation, answers questions, and books appointments. Every call is transcribed, scored and logged.
There is a deliberate order to setting it up, because the platform refuses to dial until the pieces that make a call lawful are in place.
1. Connect a number
Under Phone Numbers, add the number calls will originate from. Carrier reputation is tracked per number, so it is worth keeping one number for one purpose rather than rotating.
2. Build an agent
Under AI Agents, write what the agent should say and how it should behave. You do not need to write the disclosure — see AI agents.
3. Import contacts
Under Leads, import a CSV or add contacts by hand. A number in your list is not callable on its own: consent and do-not-call are checked per contact, at the moment of dialling.
4. Record consent
This is the step most platforms leave until later, and the one Telerva is built around. See Contacts and consent.
5. Create a campaign
A campaign is a list, an agent, and rules about when to call. Calling hours come from the recipient's own timezone rather than yours.
What happens if something is missing
The platform tells you which step is incomplete rather than dialling and failing. A campaign will not start without an agent, an outbound number, and the provider credentials the agent needs to speak.
